6. WINCHESTERS & SCOOBY-GANG (SEASON 13, EPISODE 16)

Who would have thought that Supernatural would cross paths with Scooby-Doo. It is a crossover that nobody could have possibly imagined, but it became a reality. The Winchesters and Castiel find themselves transported into the world of the Scooby Doo gang. They join forces with Team Scooby-Doo to solve a supernatural mystery. This episode was filled with humorous and nostalgic moments that deserves a spot on our list.
5. DAD’S ON A HUNTING TRIP (SEASON 1, EPISODE 1)

The pilot episode is one of the most important and impactful episodes of the series. It was this episode which set the tone for the show. Dean visits Sam and urges his brother to join him in locating their missing father. Together they set out on a quest which will change the course of their lives forever.
4. WE ARE INSIDE THE TELEVISION (SEASON 5, EPISODE 8)

While investigating a case, Sam and Dean finding themselves transported into the world of television where they are forced to play different characters. This episode pays a homage to numerous iconic shows and also parodies them. The boys keep jumping from one dangerous scenario to the other, even participating in a ridiculous Japanese game show. This episode contains numerous meta moments and subtle jokes to the show itself. Eventually, Sam and Dean learn that Trickster is actually the archangel Gabriel.
3. BOBBY’S DEMISE ( SEASON 7, EPISODE 10)

The demise of one of the beloved characters of Supernatural, Bobby Singer, came in Season 7, Episode titled “Death’s Door”. Bobby is shot by Roman and is into a comatose state. Bobby’s demise happened because the showrunners wanted to take the show in a different direction, giving the boys an opportunity to grow. The entire inception like dream sequence paired with the backstory of Bobby Singer. This episode definitely left an impact. The moment when Bobby awakens from the coma for a brief moment and utters the word ‘Idjits’ before passing away can make any grown man cry.
2. YELLOW-EYED MEETS HIS END (SEASON 2, EPISODE 22)

Let’s be honest, Supernatural wouldn’t be the same without Azazel. He is the one who set all the events in moment, from striking a deal with Mary Winchester to causing her demise, granting psychic abilities to Sam through his blood, and working towards preparing a demonic army for Lucifer. His ultimate plan involved opening the Devil’s Gate that would release the demons into the world. There is an intense showdown where Dean manages to shoot Azazel using the Colt with the help of John Winchester’s spirit.
1. CARRY ON (SEASON 15, EPISODE 20)

The final episode of the show sees the boys going on a routine hunt of a vampires nest where Dean ends up mortally wounded. Dean tells Sam to continue on living. The defining moment of the final episode comes when Sam who is now older, with a son of his own, his son tells him that he can go now. Meanwhile, Dean is driving his impala to the tune of Carry On My Wayward Son all across the heaven. He stops at the bridge where he is greeted by Sam who is finally reunited with his brother. This moment captures the legacy of the Supernatural which is the never ending bond of the Winchesters.
