9. Niue

Niue is an island state whose area is about 261.46 sq km and population comprises of only 1,190 people. Though the views from this place are very beautiful but still tourism is not so popular over here.

8. Saint Kitts and Nevis

Saint Kitts and Nevis are two different islands of the same state and the area of these islands is around 261 sq. km. and only 52,329 people live here. To obtain citizenship you have to buy a property worth $400,000 on any of the two islands.

7. Principality of Hutt River

The area of this place is only 75 sq. km and only 30 people live here, this place is near the province of Australia. This place was founded by a person named Leonard Casley and then he declared his farm as an independent country.

6. Tuvalu

Tuvalu is said to be the smallest and also the poorest country with an area of only 26 sq. km and with a population of 10,959 people. The economic condition of this place is not good.
