4. RICK COSNETT
Rick Cosnett is best known for his work in Quantico, TVD, and The Flash. Although it was CW’s Flash which resulted in this acting getting wide attention. Portraying the role of Eddie Thawne who played a significant role in the storyline events. Eddie Thawne is the forefather of Flash’s arch enemy Eobard Thawne, after learning what role he would play in the timeline, he sacrifices himself to erase the existence of Eobard. Rick was originally supposed to play the first Flash named Jay Gerrick, but was later finalized to play Eddie. While he did heroics act on Flash, but his tenure on TVD was anything, but heroic. He portrayed Dr. Wes Maxfield who is notorious for his experiments on vampires and werewolves. He served as the main antagonist of Season 5 of the show where he tried creating a rabid kind of vampires known as as the ‘Rippers’.
3. CHRIS WOOD
The major turning point of Chris Wood’s career came when he was cast as Kai Parker in the Vampire Diaries. The Siphoner witch who has escaped from the Prison World and is coming after his family. He proved to be menacing foe in Season 6 who despite losing assured his win. Chris Wood would go on to star in a series called ‘Containment’ which follows the outbreak of an epidemic.
In 2016, Chris Wood would be cast in CW’s Supergirl in the main role of Mon-El. It was during his time on DC’s Supergirl where he met and fell in love with Melissa Benoist. In 2021, he was cast for the voice role of He-Man/Prince Adam in the Netflix’s Masters of the Universe: Revelation which is the sequel to the hit 80’s series. The series became a big hit and earned rave reviews with the actor being appraised for his voice work.
2. LAUREN COHAN
Lauren Cohan is not only one of the widely recognized female actresses on the planet, but also one of the highest paid TV actresses in the world. Her role of Maggie Greene in the Walking Dead which took her career to new heights. A role that earned her the People’s Choice Award nomination and won her numerous accolades. The Vampire Diaries fans will always Lauren as Rose, the sire of Katherine Pierce who made her appearance in Season 2. Even though she character lasted for only a few episodes, but her impact was everlasting. Rose developed a close friendship with Damon and saw through his facade. The death of Rose is one of the most heartbreaking moments in the series.
1. ARIELLE KEBBEL
Arielle Kebbel appeared in the episode ‘162 Candles’ in the Vampire Diaries Season 1 where she portrayed Lexi Branson, the BFF of Stefan Salvatore. Even though it was a guest appearance and her character met a tragic fate, but the reception she got, forced the writers to bring her back in a recurring role. While many know the actress for her time on TVD, but the actress has appeared in a lead role in hit TV shows such as ‘BALLERS’, ‘Midnight, Texas’, ‘90210’, and recurring role in various shows. She has also made appearances in films such as ‘Supporting Characters’, ‘Fifty Shades Freed’.
