Season 2 of the show focused on Dahlia, the aunt of the Mikaelson siblings who returns to claim Hope as a part of the deal she once made with their mother. Freya Mikaelson, the long lost sister also arrives to help them in fighting Dahlia. Whereas Season 3 focused on the sireline war, the first sired vampires of Klaus, Elijah, and Rebekah arrive in New Orleans with the charade of saving the life of their sire, but in reality, they together were plotting against them.

5. DID KLAUS & ELIJAH FIND PEACE
In the finale episode of the Originals, Elijah breaks the White Oak Stake in half, he tells Klaus that he plans to die by his side. While Klaus dismisses the idea, Elijah tells him that the sole person of his life has been the redemption of Klaus. Klaus is terrified of the idea that what if there is no peace, only darkness in the afterlife. Elijah assures him that whatever it is, they will face it together. While in TVD, we found out about the fate of Stefan, Damon, and Elena who all found peace after their death. But no such clarity has been given in the case of the Klaus and Elijah.
The show creator Julie Plec reveals that they made is a deliberate choice to not reveal their fates. But she confirms that they will ultimately find their way there. Despite all the evil stuff they did, their redemption would be their eternal love for the family for which they made the sacrifice. However, there has been a major hint in the Legacies about the fate of Klaus. The Necromancer reveals that Klaus has not found peace. He watches over Hope and won’t find peace till she finds peace. But what about Elijah? Is he reunited with Hayley and found peace? We can only imagine.

4. FATE OF AURORA
Aurora de Martel is the first vampire ever turned by the Original Vampire Rebekah Mikaelson, a member of the Trinity. She along with Lucien and Tristan plotted against the Mikaelson family. Lucien offers him the serum to turn herself into an Upgraded Original. When she was torturing Klaus at the Lucien penthouse, Hayley and Cami interrupt and knock her down. In the next few episodes, we saw her unconscious body in the custody of the Mikaelsons, Freya inspected her body to find out that she has not taken the serum.
In an exchange between Roman and Hope where Roman says that Hope has a dead redhead wrapped in a sheet in her parlor, to which Hope responds saying that she is the crazy ex of her dad. This leaves the possibility of her return wide open. Legacies has already introduced the character of Kai who was trapped in the Prison World so it won’t be surprising if they decide to re-introduce Aurora de Martel as a major villain.
