He attained the status of Black sheep in his family and struggled to get the attention of his siblings. His place was taken by Marcel Gerard, the adoptive son of Klaus. Due to his insecurities, he turned to violent ways and his tales of terror earned him the notorious reputation of being the wildest one. In TVD, after being undaggered, when he learned about the arrival of Silas, he tried warning his siblings and the Mystic Falls gang to stop raising him. But Elena and the gang didn’t listen to him, they ended up killing him. In Originals, Daniel Sherman appeared as Kol when the spirit of Kol was placed inside the body of a witch named Kaleb. Nathaniel would return reprising the role of Kol Mikaelson once again in Season 3.

Three different sets of actors have played the roles of Josie and Lizzie in the TVD Universe. They are the twin daughters of Alaric and Jo. After Kai Parker returned and started absorbing the powers from his siblings, he stabbed his sister Jo at her wedding. Jo was pregnant with the twins and the wound was fatal which killed her. It looked like everything was lost. But in Season 7, we learn that Gemini Coven had preserved the twins and they use their magic to transfer them into the Caroline’s womb. Caroline would raise them through surrogacy. Lizzie and Josie also made an appearance in the Originals where they of teenager age. In Season 5 of Originals, they siphoned the dark magic out of Hope and placed it inside Klaus. In Legacies, they have become adults and are the main characters of the spin-off.
