Supernatural fandom knows very well that Jared battled through depression. He spoke publicly about his mental struggled. Jared would even launch a campaign called ‘Always Keep Fighting’ to support fight against mental illness, the campaign raised funds for the helpful. His co-star and best friend Jensen Ackles also supported him in his campaign, together they raised funds by selling the shirts for the campaign and created awareness.
2. SOME UNKNOWN TRIVIA
Many don’t know but Jared Padalecki was considered for the role of Clark Kent/Superman in a proposed reboot of the Superman film franchise, but it never came to realization. It was reported that the actor was approached for a role in GI Joe: The Rise of Cobra, but due to commitment to Supernatural he couldn’t take up the project. According to IMDB, he was offered the role of Conrad Hauser AKA Duke which eventually went to Channing Tatum. Interestingly according to some internet resources, it is ‘reported’ that the actor also auditioned for the titular role of Anakin Skywalker in the 2002 released film Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones The actor also uses sign language while interacting with his kids. He is so passionate about the sign language and encourages everyone to learn it including his own children. The reason behind that sign language comes in handy in places where words fall short of the communication.

Both Jared and Jensen earned major career success with their titular roles of Sam and Dean on Supernatural. The duo played brothers on the screen, but over time their friendship transformed into a brotherhood. They have shared the screen together for 15 years which is a huge achievement. Jared Padalecki revealed the secret behind their amazing chemistry is they are in fact great friends which he called the best thing about Supernatural. Both of them are quite similar in various aspects such as both hail from Texas, they share similar interest in music and sports, and both are family men. Jared talked about their brotherhood, he said that the best thing about this bond is that it will remain the same even beyond the screen. Like siblings, they could have fights or times when they won’t agree on something, but in the end, they’ll always overcome it and will have each other’s back.
