3. WHY DID DEAN BREAK BUT JOHN DIDN’T?
In Supernatural Season 3 finale, Dean ends up in hell where he is tortured and broken down psychologically and physically to the extent that he gave up. Alastair revealed that John Winchester endured the same fate for nearly 100 years, but didn’t break. Remind you that the time works differently in the realm of the underworld. Both Dean and John were righteous souls and any of them giving in could have broken the seal. While Dean breaking down and breaking the first seal surely makes a great compelling TV. But what could the reason as to why John Winchester didn’t break. Was it more determined and strong willed? The possible explanation for this is John knew about the apocalypse. This could be understood from Season 14 Episode ‘Lebanon’ where John is transported to the future and comes to know about all the events that have happened through Sam and Dean. So it makes sense that John knew how the events are going to play out.
2. FOREIGN MONSTERS IN USA
Some people have raised the question as to why we see a Japanese Okami or Indian Rakshaka in America? Shouldn’t it be limited to only American urban legends and monsters, but Supernatural has featured creatures and supernatural species from different regions, countries, and cultures. Answer is pretty simple. USA is a place of diversity, it consists of people coming from different parts of the world, having different culture and background. So if people of different culture and heritage could reside in USA then surely the monsters can too.
1. SAM DIDN’T LOOK FOR DEAN IN SEASON 8
Many fans have a problem with why Sam didn’t look for Dean in Season 8. He just accepted Dean was gone and didn’t look for him. But this is not entirely true. Sam somewhat had an idea that Dean and Castiel are teleported to Purgatory because all the monsters go to Purgatory after their demise. And Dean, Cas vanished along with Roman. But Sam was alone with no means to access to Purgatory. Even if he had accessed the doorway portal which was used by Cas-Crowley, he could do it on Lunar Eclipse. So Sam had no idea where to look for Dean and the only hope Castiel was also gone. Plus Dean made Sam to stay true to their promise of not going the limits for each other anymore which results in disasters.
