5. NOT THE FIRST NEPHILIM
He is not the first Nephilim in the Supernatural. The other The first one is Jane, she is the daughter of an angel and a human. Metatron tricked Castiel in killing her. Jane was aware of Castiel’s identity and begged her to spare her, but the influence of Metatron caused her death. This action of Castiel led to the expulsion of the angels as her heart was a crucial ingredient in the spell.

The name Jack is the medieval diminutive of the name John. The world was used as a slang for man. In the earlier drafts for the Pilot episode of Supernatural, the character of John Winchester was originally named as Jack. However, the creators changed the name when they found a real Jack Winchester living in Kansas to avoid legal issues.
2. SIMILARITIES & POWERS
Jack is close to Castiel whom he considers as his father figure rather than Lucifer. He also considers the Winchesters close to him as they protected him and guided him. Later, he developed a father-son like bond with Dean Winchester. Many fans have also noted Jack’s similarities with Castiel. There’s a scene where Jack holds the FBI badge upside down similar to what Cas did once. Jack Kline is also the non-primordial being who possesses abilities and powers close to the God. Similar to Darkness in Season 11, he also forced an angel telekinetically to kill themselves with an Angel Blade.
Jack has also lost his soul and became soulless. But during his time as a soulless being, he expressed emotions such as angel. This is contrary to Sam Winchester who became soulless in Season 6 and felt nothing. But Jack was able to feel due being an angel as angels are capable of a certain degree of emotion even when they are without souls. Kelly Kline and Lucifer both were seen to be burning when they came in contact with the bible. However, we have seen Jack touching and reading a bible without any harm.
