Supernatural is the creation of Eric Kripke who has been fascinated with the urban legends and ghost stories ever since he was a child. While Kripke’s vision of the show was limited to the first five seasons and he concluded his story with the Swan Song episode. The first five seasons focused around the apocalypse and the Winchesters trying to prevent it. Eric Kripke bid goodbye to the show and moved on to try different projects. In an interview, the creator revealed that his two most favorite Supernatural episodes are ‘The French Mistake’ from Season 6 and ‘Changing Channels’ from Season 5. Season 5 episode Changing Channels saw the Winchesters being trapped in a universe where they are compelled to play popular TV show characters by Gabriel. Whereas Season 6 episode ‘The French Mistake’ saw the boys being transported to an alternate universe by Castiel. This is the universe where Supernatural is just a fictional show and it breaks the fourth wall by acknowledging and referencing the actors and their personal lives on the screen.
Whereas Misha Collins’ favorite episode is ‘Baby’ from Season 11 and the episode ‘Scoobynatural’ from Season 13. While Jared’s favorite episode is ‘Carry On’ from Season 15 whereas Jensen Ackles’ favorite episode is ‘Death’s Door’ from Season 7.

1. JENSEN ACKLES FAVORITE SUPERNATURAL STORYLINE
Over the course of 15 Seasons, Supernatural has featured hundreds of storylines, ranging from the brothers hunting monsters to the archangels fighting each other for supremacy. While every fan has their favorite storyline and season. At the core, the main and the never ending storyline has always been the tale of love between the two brothers who went through literally everything, defied their fate, and made the world a better place. The show started with boys searching for their father, they learning about the yellow-eyed demon who is responsible for the deaths of Mary and Jessica.
Later, they learn that they are chosen to be the vessels of the archangels who would fight in the apocalyptic battle. The brothers along with the help of Castiel stopped the apocalypse. While Eric Kripke’s story of Supernatural ended with the Swan Song, but the show continued and went on telling hundreds of stories. Jensen Ackles who played Dean Winchester on the Supernatural revealed his favorite storyline when he was asked about in an interview. The actor revealed that his character’s time in Purgatory along with the Vampire Benny and Angel Castiel stands out. He expressed his praise for the look and feel of the Purgatory dimension, appreciating how it was shot. Jensen totally enjoyed the different ‘apocalyptic’ feel of the storyline and wished they had gotten more of the Purgatory storyline.
