Clair and Phoebe have been friends for a very long time. They first met when they were 16 and 15, and started working together on the show called H2O where they played mermaids. The show became a cult classic. The duo would again become a part of the Vampire Diaries, but they didn’t share scenes together on the show. But when they became a part of the spin-off Originals where their respected characters have meaningful story arcs together. While Claire’s character Rebekah Mikaelson is the aunt of Claire’s character Hayley’s daughter on the show. Whereas in real, Phoebe is the aunt of the kids of Claire. They are like a family and remained close even after the Originals ended.

Danielle Campbell rose to fame with her role of the witch Davina Claire on the Originals. The young was always at the odds against the Mikaelson Family until she found her love in Kol Mikaelson. Kol would develop a romantic relationship with Davina. However, tragedy would befall them when both of them would get separated. However Kolvina would find a happy ending together in the final season. While their romance on-screen was amazing, but the duo started dating in real life in 2017. The fans would come to know about their romantic relationship through the pictures shared on their social media.

Both of them appeared in both TVD and Originals. While their on-screen interaction was limited, but off-screen, they have been involved in an intense relationship that lasted for four years. The pair would end up their long relationship saying it ran its course, but still remain close friends to this very day. They expressed their love quite discreetly, but the pictures on Instagram made it quite evident. Even after they separated, they continued to remain friends. Tonkin revealed in an interview that he considers Paul to be her best friend, he’s someone nice with whom she can share everything with. While Paul had a marriage with Torrey DeVitto who played Meredith Fell on TVD, but it resulted in a divorce. It was then Paul began dating Phoebe.
