Despite their breakup, it didn’t affect their on-screen chemistry as the actors remained professional. Nina Dobrev would soon depart the show after TVD Season 6. She would later return in the final season of the show and would ultimately end up living a happy life with Damon. Both Nina and Ian remained close friends even after their break-up. Nina is also close with Ian’s wife Nikki Reed. It’s notable that Delena has won numerous awards such as the best love scene moment, best kissing, and lots others.
