The Darkness served as the major antagonist of Season 11. Darkness AKA Amara was locked away by her brother Chuck (God) and the archangels eons ago using the Mark of Cain which was then handed to Lucifer which corrupted him. Eventually Dean handed up with Mark of Cain which turned him dark and violent. Sam with the help of Rowena using the forbidden book. But in doing so, it unleashed the darkness on earth. The force of the darkness took the form of a female baby named Amara. It would consume all sorts of souls to gain pain and kept growing. Soon, she turned into a child and then quickly into a teenager. Ultimately, after consuming enough souls along with angel grace, she grew into her adult form.
The character of Amara has been portrayed by four different actresses namely Gracyn Shinyei, Yasmeene Ball, Samantha Isler, and Emily Swallow.

4. ALASTAIR (3 ACTORS)
Alastair is a white-eyed demon who served as a torturer in hell. He is the demon who tortured Dean Winchester in order to break the first seal to free Lucifer. Dean was defiant at first, but eventually broke under the torture. Alastair is one of the few demons who actually enjoys hell and torture. He is very sinister and excels in the punishment. He is also the second demon to be ever created only after Lilith, he followed the orders of Lilith. Even the normal angels were powerless against Alastair. Eventually, his demise came at the hands of Sam Winchester who used his amplified psychic powers to dispose him. The demon Meg also acquired her training from Alastair.
