5. THERE ARE ONLY TWO SALVATORE BROTHERS

Stefan and Damon Salvatore are the children of Giuseppe and Lillian Salvatore. However, after the presumed death of Lily Salvatore, had an affair with an unnamed woman who is believed to be a maid at the Salvatore Mansion. Giuseppe and the woman had an illegitimate son who turned out to be the father of Zachariah.
As Stefan and Damon became vampires in 1864 and couldn’t continue their bloodline (Since Stefan & Valerie’s unborn child died), it is clear that they had a paternal half brother who was a human and continued the Salvatore bloodline. This is also evident from Damon Salvatore’s quote in Season 3 Episode ‘1912’ where he says that his father made a maid pregnant and she had a son. Him and Stefan were dead for everyone else. 4. HOPE IS NOT AN ORIGINAL VAMPIRE
Hope should be an Original Vampire because she is the genetic child of an Original Vampire so she would naturally be an Original Vampire. That’s how biology works. She got the vampire and witch legacy from her father Klaus. But she isn’t an Original Vampire as she wasn’t created by the spell. Originals are the first vampires who were created through the magical spell. Whereas Hope was born with the vampire blood in her system. However, it doesn’t mean that she is an ordinary vampire. The full extent of her vampires are not known fully yet.
But she’s one of a kind, the only tribrid in the existence. She is a non-original hybrid who is capable of siring other vampires and hybrids. An ability only possessed by her father. She is also capable of compelling other vampires which is an ability only possessed by the Originals. Despite being a vampire, she is also capable of practicing magic as she is the only Nature’s loophole. Even though she is not an alpha, but she would be the heir to the Crescent wolves, making her the alpha. But she is also not a regular vampire. It’s pretty evident. Her immortality is also not bound like the normal vampires Being an Original isn’t just about the spell and strength. Originals were the first vampires. While Hope has the DNA and blood of Klaus, but she isn’t the ‘first’ vampire. She is an entirely different creature, the first tribrid.
