2. EVIL ACTS OF KLAUS
In Season 3 finale, the Upgraded Original Marcel bites Elijah and Kol resulting in them dying slowly due to the incurable venom. Freya is poisoned and Rebekah is hexed. Only Klaus is left to protect them all. Marcel instructs that Klaus stand a trial for the crimes he committed over the centuries. During the trial, he confronts the mob against whom he had done the wrongs.
We learned that in the year 1684 when the wife of a man accused his sister Rebekah of the witchcraft, he turned the man into a vampire and compelled him to kill his wife. Then in the year 1891, a woman had pneumonia and she coughed all night due to the illness. Klaus turned the woman and her daughter into vampires and then burned the woman alive right in front of her daughter. His evil deeds didn’t stop there, he transformed a simple farmer into a vampire all because the farmed owed Klaus a piece of land. He then made the farmer burn down his entire village.

1. BETRAYING MARCEL
After losing Davina whom he considered to be his daughter, Marcel has been grieving and has every right to be mad at the Mikaelsons. Klaus takes to a walk at the bridge where they shared significant memories together. Klaus continues saying how he is proud of Marcel that he’s is able to become a better man. He assures Marcel that he’ll always be a part of the family. Then comes Elijah and warns him to not take the serum.
Marcel expresses his anger and frustration saying how Klaus doesn’t want anyone to be equal to him. Their vow of ‘Always and Forever’ is their excuse to do whatever they want and all the villains in their story were created by them. Elijah rips out his heart within the blink of an eye and Marcel falls over the bridge. He is resurrected as an Upgraded Original Vampire and exacts his revenge on the Mikaelson family then.
