And it has also been mentioned on a different show, the popular CW Supernatural made a reference to Lucifer when the show’s own Lucifer jokes about escaping from the cage and after saving the world, he would solve crimes and settle in LA. This was before Lucifer had premiered on FOX. The show shares numerous elements with Supernatural due to being of the similar nature. The nephilim conceived between Amenadiel and Linda is named Charlie, it could be a reference to Supernatural’s Nephilim Jack Kline and the sassy character Charlie Bradbury. Lucifer also featured an angel named Cassiel which is a nod to Castiel from Supernatural.
