Did you know Jared Padalecki was a finalist for the McG’s scrapped Superman film. The actor did a screentest for the 1004 scrapped film titled Superman: Flyby. He did a screen test where he worse the suit for the part of Clark Kent. When the project’s script was leaked, it received negative responses from the fans for the story. McG stepped down and WB hired a different director, the project followed a different story and ultimately was released as Superman Returns.
An interesting connection between Jensen and Jeffrey Dean Morgan is that Jensen voiced Bruce Wayne/Batman in 2010 animated film ‘Batman: Under The Red Hood’. Jeffry Dean Morgan appeared as Thomas Wayne in a cameo role in Batman Vs Superman: Dawn of Justice. Jensen Ackles will soon appear as Soldier Boy in Amazon’s ‘The Boys’. The actor once was in the frontline for the race of playing Captain America before Marvel finalized Chris Evans. But Jensen impressed the producers and director that they offered him the role of the Hawkeye before it went to Jeremy Renner.
1. THE PRANKSTERS
We all well know that Jensen and Jared are notorious pranksters on the show. They love pranking their co-stars. Their pranks can be full of mischief and are devious, Misha has been the prime target of their ridiculous pranks. Jared once put a fish that he had for lunch in the car of their fellow actor Misha Collins. Poor Misha also had the air removed from the tires of his car by the boys at times. Once Jared found Misha’s phone lying unlocked, he decided to make several calls to Japan before putting it back. Alex Calvert who joined the cast in Season 13 became the next favorite target of the boys. They would moan off-camera while Alex was trying to shoot his scene. As the show featured guest stars in every episode. Jensen and Jared wouldn’t even spare the guest actors. They would purposefully make them burst into laughter before their take. Jensen revealed in an interview that if him and Jared embarrass someone or prank someone, it means they genuinely like them.
The show has a long tradition of the pranks. Throughout the 15 seasons, there have been numerous pranks done on each other. The prank history could be traced back to Season 1 when Dean placed a spoon in the mouth of Sam and clicked a picture. Let us know what is your favorite prank?
