One of the best qualities about Elijah is that he always keeps his promises. He is known as the man of his word. When he promised Davina a page from her mother’s spell book in exchange for her help, he did deliver on his promise. Often times, his word has gotten him in conflict with other people especially with his brother Klaus. But one thing about Elijah’s promises is that he finds a loophole to break it once he finds out that he has been lied or deceived. Such as when he promised Sophie that Agnes would not die at the hands of Klaus, but when he learned that Agnes made an attempt on the life of Hayley and her unborn child, he decided to kill her himself for coming after his family.
