He has proven to be an effective warden of the hell, improving the management of the underworld.

6. HIS VESSELS
So far Crowley has possessed six different vessels. His primary vessel that he prefers the most belonged to a ‘moderately successful’ literary agent from New York. He has also possessed Lunda Tran, Marnie, Andre Devlin, Sam Winchester, and Castiel. Crowley possessed Sam to inform him about Gadreel and possessed Castiel to convince him to expel Lucifer. He took possession of Linda Tran to get the demon tablet, possessed Marnie to reach out to his demons to take care of his main vessel.
5. HIS DEPARTURE
Mark Sheppard disliked the way his character’s story came to an end. He called the death of Crowley as the slowest, most painful death’. He believed that the character of Crowley had gone on to become the dumbest character from being one of the smartest in the last two seasons before his departure. The writers ran out of ideas for him. When he was presented the script for his final episode, he requested a re-written and suggested extra dialogues. His original line to Lucifer was supposed to be ‘Funny you should say that because when I lose I win’, but the director Robert Singer cut off all his extra dialogues. He is also the third character to be permanently killed off following Bela and Ruby who didn’t return.
4. HIS NICKNAMES
Crowley has given some hilarious nicknames to Sam and Dean Winchester. His nicknames for Sam which are a reference to his tall height include: Jolly Green, Giraffe, Moose, and Gigantor. Whereas he calls Dean as Squirrel and Not Moose. The names Squirrel and Moose are a reference to the popular Rocky and Bullwinkle who are known as ‘Moose and Squirrel’ by the villains.
