Throughout the TVD Universe, we have been introduced to different kinds of magic such as the Traditional Magic, the Sacrificial Magic, the Dark Magic, the Expression Magic, and various other forms. but the history and lore of these magics have never been explored in detail. How did it start? Who were the first practitioners? Their origin stories would surely be pretty great. A spin-off that would completely focus around the witches and different forms of magic. 5. THE BENNETT DIARIES
The Bennett Family is one of the most powerful bloodline of the witches. This family has been related to both the Salvatores and the Petrovas. The first known ancestor of Bennett bloodline is the witch Qetsiyah who created the Immortality Spell. They originated in Greece, but then moved to Salem, but were again forced to relocate due to the Salem trials. They would eventually settle in Mystic Falls. Numerous significant events that took place in the Vampire Diaries were a result of the direct or indirect action of a Bennett Witch. There wouldn’t be no Originals if there was no immortality spell. There would be no Brotherhood Hunters if it wasn’t for the Witch of the Five. The Salvatores wouldn’t have survived if Emily hadn’t prepared the daylight rings.
And the contributions of Bonnie Bennett are limitless. It would be pretty interesting to see a spin-off which would explore the Bennett Witches origin and their backstories. The final season saw Bonnie setting off on a long trip, a good idea would be to feature Bonnie as she learns and explores the Bennett bloodline.
