4. THE HERETICS
Okay, before you dismiss the idea entirely and mention how the entire Heretics arc was one of the worst TVD Storylines, just hear me out. The Heretics are unique, the powerful witch-vampire coven who made the witches tremble in fear. Their origin is really fascinating. Born as Siphoners who cannot generate magic of their own, but they can siphon magic from other sources. These witches were members of the famous Gemini Coven who considered them as nothing more than abominations. Their powers threatened Gemini Coven who exiled them into the Prison World where they met the Vampire Lily Salvatore.
Lily due to her Ripper acts was prisoned in the prison world as a sort of punishment. Lily transformed them into the vampires and thus Heretics came into existence. While TVD covered many of these points, but there’s a lot of storylines and material that could be utilized. The show could focus on individual members such as Nora, Valeria, and Mary Louise, exploring their backstories and time in the Gemini Coven. Apart from Valeria, we didn’t see other members being turned into vampires so that would be something interesting. (Credit: bexibooo)

3. THE 1864 FILES
Every TVD fan is well aware about the significance of the year 1864. It was this year which set a chain of events in motion that changed the course of history. It was the fateful year when Katherine Pierce came across the Salvatores and it started their epic love triangle. Both Salvatores would eventually be transformed into the vampires and start a rivalry that would last for more than a century. Even though there were many flashbacks to the 1864 in TVD, but never in a detail. There’s lot to be explored such as how Lily became a vampire, Giuseppe Salvatore’s relationship with the boys, Damon’s time in the army, Stefan & Valerie’s relationship. It can also feature on Katherine Pierce’s adventures, how she became a vampire, and her time with Klaus. The 1864 files could explore the lives of other Founder Families in depth, the Lockwoods, the Gilberts, the Forbes, and the others. This show could also explore the lives, origins, backstories of characters such as Rose, Trevor, Lexi, and various others.
2. VAMPIRE DIARIES – THE FUTURE
This is the least likely idea to ever happen because some of the actors are done with the Vampire Diaries. Actors such as Nina, Ian, and Paul, are happy with the way their stories have concluded, and aren’t likely to return ever. Even if the show doesn’t revolve around the Original cast (as they won’t return). The spin-off could feature whole new actors and characters . The show will only focus on the children of Damon and Elena who were once mentioned on Legacies. The children grew up, discover their parents’ heritage, and take up the mantle to protect Mystic Falls from a whole new crop of villains. What would be more interesting is somehow the children of Delena end up becoming Vampires, following the footsteps of their parents, and ultimately embrace the new Supernatural life.
1. THE HUNTRESS
Rayna Cruz was introduced in the Season 7. The sole purpose of her life was to eliminate the vampires and confine the vampires using the Phoenix Stone. Stefan Salvatore became her main target and she spent a considerable amount of time going after him. Rayna saved the life of Bonnie by giving her remaining life to Bonnie. Her character is pretty interesting and there’s plenty of content available for her spin-off. Rayne is the daughter of Vicente Cruz, a member of the Five. The spin-off could also explore the tradition and backstory of the Brotherhood of the Five in detail. It could focus on her early life, her training as a vampire hunter, and her journey from the 1857 to the present TVD time.
