7. Kinnaur Road
Located in the South-western part of the state of Himachal Pradesh, this road is carved of rocks. What makes this road really dangerous is that it has many blind and sharp turns which if not paid attention to could result in dangerous accidents. The road is very narrow and at some places due to lack of space, it is impossible for vehicles from both sides to cross together.
6. Kailash Road
One of the most dangerous roads in the world is the Kailash Yatra Road, it is a road between Kishtwar (J&K) and Killar (Himachal Pradesh). This road is the main gateway to the Kishtwar Kailash, the base camp to the holy mountain. This is a terrifying high mountain road which has a trail length of 114 km. It’s probably the most unsafe road because its condition is never constant, it witnesses many landslides, and the entire road is full of loose soil and rocks. One small mistake and it could lead to a disaster, at one side there is 1000 ft freefall into the river Chandrabhaga and on the other end you have dead mountain cliffs hanging.
5. Three Level ZigZag Road
This road is located in Sikkim. It is probably the most dizzying road in the world. At an altitude of 11,200 ft above the seal level, you will surely get the best scenic view, but this hairpinned road will surely get your adrenaline pumping. This curvy road which will make your head spin is located near Dzuluk which is a small village lying in the historic silk route from Tibet to India. You need to have special permits to pass through the three level ZigZag Road. This road is definitely not recommended for the fainthearted people who easily get motion sick.
