1. Chewing gum is banned in Singapore

Who would have thought that chewing a gum could result in imprisonment? Yes, It can happen in Singapore! Since 1992 Chewing gum is illegal in Singapore. There’s also a strictly enforced ban on importing chewing gum into Singapore. Only the dental or nicotine gum is allowed, but it must be prescribed from a doctor. Also one cannot bring or sell a gum in Singapore, there’s also a $700 fine for spitting out gum on the streets.

2. You cannot change a light bulb in Australia.

It is illegal to change a light bulb in Victoria, Australia. Only the person who’s a licensed electrician is allowed to change the light bulbs. If you plan on a getting an Australian citizenship, make sure you also get an electrician licence for yourself. The law is made so that the people don’t accidentally get themselves electrocuted. And If changed that light bulb by yourself then you will face a stiff Australian $10 fine.

3. Divorce is illegal in Vatican and Philippines.

What do you do when you find yourself in an unhappy marriage? You go for the divorce, but what if you live in a country where divorce is not allowed? There are only two countries in the world where divorce is considered illegal. You are not allowed to get a divorce in Vatican and Philippines. These countries don’t allow divorce for anyone living there. However, in Philippines, the only exception is Muslims, they are allowed a divorce in certain circumstances.
