7. KOL AS STEFAN
Nathaniel Buzolic who is best known for his portrayal of the Kol Mikaelson in Vampire Diaries and later in Originals was almost cast as Stefan Salvatore. Kol Mikaelson is known as the wildest Mikaelson who is unpredictable and chaotic, he is the one who even Klaus is terrified of at times. The logo that can be seen in the Originals is the symbol named ‘La Fleur De Lys’. This symbol represents the French Royalty. As given the story of the Originals, the legendary Mikaelson Family who has traveled the world, seen numerous wars, conquered numerous cities, but ultimately chose to settle in the French Quarter of the New Orleans, this symbol fits them quite well. An interesting fact about the nationalities of the actors who played the Mikaelson siblings. Riley Voelkel who played Freya Mikaelson is American whereas Claire Holt AKA Rebekah and Nathaniel Buzolic who played Kol are of Australian nationality. Joseph Morgan who portrayed Klaus Mikaelson is English whereas his brother Elijah who is played by Daniel Gillies is Canadian. Casper Zafer who played Finn on TVD and Originals is of Ukrainian descent.
