The actor played the recurring character of Heath Tuchman who is a laboratory teach guy who cares about Liz and is willing to go to lengths to make her happy. Liz is the main character of the series. Health ultimately helps her in breaking her old behavior patterns.

After Originals, Daniel Gillies went on to star in a horror movie in a lead role. The movie is titled ‘Coming Home In The Dark’ which is based on the story of the same name and it received critical acclaim. The actor was cast in Netflix show ‘Virgin River’ which follows Melinda Monroe who works as a nurse practitioner in the town of Virgin River where she arrived to leave behind her trauma.
