But when he sensed a threat against his family, he didn’t care who it was, he acted on it. Even though Marcel was the same boy who was raised by the Mikaelsons, he fought alongside them, and considered them to be his family.
Despite all their love for one another, they also managed to hurt each other in the worst way possible. Elijah is responsible for the death of Tatia, the woman who Klaus loved, but she chose Elijah. He can also be partially blamed for the demise of Hayley which broke Klaus and Hope. Even though Elijah Mikaelson had his memories erased and wasn’t himself so he couldn’t recognize his own family. While Klaus is no innocent, he is responsible for the death of Gia, a woman who Elijah loved dearly. Klaus killed her only to get back at his brother for daggering him.
