But his brother, the angel and the obedient of God, Amenadiel is hell-bent on sending his brother back to hell in order to maintain the balance of the cosmos as a ruler is needed to run hell and manage souls. Amenadiel tried all kinds of tactics to convince his brother to return, he even raised the doomed soul of Malcolm Graham to attain his objective, but when his hired assassin turned rogue, he joined forces with Lucifer to correct his mistake and make things right.

Since then the brothers developed a more friendly bond despite the complex relationship they have had over the millennia. After his experiences on earth and interactions with humans, Amenadiel experienced a change of heart and a change in his perception of the earthly creatures. In Season 4, he decided that he’d stay on Earth instead of the Silver City as he believes Earth is his true home due to the people here. The two brothers have gone through a lot and there are plenty of amazing moments that they shared together over the course of five seasons.
One of the hilarious moments from Season 1 is when Amenadiel’s cover as a therapist is exposed in front of Dr. Linda Martin. She finds out that he and Lucifer are actually brothers. She witnesses the complex relationship of the brothers as they both try justifying their views and actions. It’s funny to imagine two angels, celestial beings, in a therapy session.
