Welcome back to Humor Nation. The Vampire Diaries turned out to be a successful hit show which is based on the famous teen novels of the same name. While the reason why Vampire Diaries became such a hit with the young audiences is due to teenage characters and supernatural elements. This is the recipe for the success. No other Supernatural franchise has been much successful and popular than the Harry Potter. Based on the books written by JK Rowling, the movies based on the books have been among the highest grossing film series of all time. Harry Potter tells the story of a young boy who discovers that he is a wizard and gets enrolled in the Hogwarts School of Wizardry.
Now imagine what would happen if we were to combine these two popular franchises with each other. Now it would be almost impossible as both of them are set in different universes, their storylines are completely different, even the supernatural creatures depicted in them. However, there’s one possible way through which we can relate these two different worlds, it’s the Hogwarts Houses. There are four Hogwarts Houses which are unique and special in their own way. Each Houses has a noble history and is associated with certain traits which are best reflected by its members. In the beginning, the founders of these four respective houses handpicked the students they thought would best fit in their house. But after their deaths, the Sorting Hat became the medium to sort the students in the house.
The TVD Universe is full of amazing characters who are pretty unique and different. Each character has certain traits which defines them. Now we would use their personality and traits as the basis for our sorting. For example, take a look at the character of Klaus Mikaelson. His one defining trait is his ambition. He would go to any extent to get what he wants, whether it’s leadership or respect, he loves instilling fear in the hearts of others. Klaus seeks absolute power and hates being weak. He always wants to be in the driving seat, control the circumstances. Not to forget, he can resort to lies and manipulation to control people. All his qualities and traits clearly indicate that he is a true Slytherin.
His brother Elijah definitely belongs in the house of Hufflepuff because of his inability to ever give up on his brother. Hufflepuffs are defined by their loyalty and they would stand by their friends, no matter how bad the circumstances are.
