Since then Klaus had a soft corner for Klaus and never saw him as the monster as her friends did. Klaus and Caroline would finally give into their desires in Season 5. It was the final time we saw them in TVD until the couple was reunited in the Originals. Apart from Caroline, Cami is another woman who taught Klaus how to love. Many people believe she is the one true love of the Hybrid.
The love of Klaus has proven to be his weakness at times. When Aurora returned in Season 3, she came to find out about his affection for Cami. Enraged Aurora abducted Cami and compelled her. Klaus managed to save Cami and they had a Christmas moment together. But at the midnight hour, Cami woke up, drank Aurora’s blood and she took her life, thus waking up in transition. Klaus trusted her more than anyone else at times, protected her always. She was like a friend/sibling to him.
