Fan Fiction is the 200 episode of the Supernatural which is a huge achievement. The episode threw an eastern egg to celebrate this milestone, the hotel room in the episode is 200. This episode is famous for breaking the fourth wall when it acknowledged ‘Fan Fiction’ which is the fiction work constructed by the fans. A fan fiction work could drastically differ from the Original TV show or media. After all, it’s a story told from a fan’s perspective. This episode acknowledged the fan pairings such as Destiel. Dean explains it in the best manner that it’s okay for the fans to have their own unique interpretation of the show because that’s what makes the show special. 3. SWAN SONG
Swan Song is the highest-rated episode of the show on IMDB. This was supposed to be the final episode of the show, but the Network decided to continue the show due to its immense ratings and popularity. The climax of the episode has been filmed at Stull Cemetery. Kripke learned about this Cemetery from his friend, it is well-known for his urban legends. It’s because of Stull Cemetery, Kripke decided the Winchesters be from Lawrence, Kansas.
2. PILOT
You would be surprised that the original draft for the pilot episode had some significant differences. A demon causes an accident in which Mary meets her demise, but John Survives. But this was changed to Mary meeting her demise in Sam’s room at the hands of Azazel. The last name of our protagonists was supposed to be Harrison, but it was modified to Winchester due to legal reasons. There was an idea that both the boys would be raised by their uncle and aunt without being aware of their true hunter heritage. There’s a scene where Sam Winchester comes across an article posted on the wall which mentions the name ‘Deanna Kripke’ which is actually the name of the wife of the show’s creator.
1. BABY
The actress Saraj Jane Redmon has appeared in the Season 5 Episode ‘Changing Channels’ and in the Season 11 Episode ‘Baby’ playing the role of Lily Markham. Interestingly, she played the role of Nell in Smallville which also featured Jensen Ackles. The entire episode takes place from the perspective of Baby. This makes this episode very unique and special. For this episode, lots of effort was involved in filming the scenes. The crew placed the cameras not only on the car but also into the car in such a fashion it doesn’t affect its driving. Jensen and Jared had to rely on their own judgment while filming the scenes as there were no cues from the crew members for the scenes. Baby is the first episode where Dean addresses Sam using the name ‘Samuel’.
