Welcome back to Humor Nation. The character of Klaus Mikaelson was last seen in the Originals finale ‘When The Saints Go Marching In’ which involved a bittersweet conclusion to this character. He bid his emotional goodbye to his loved ones. Everyone celebrated the life of Klaus before he walked to meet his end. His brother Elijah joined him in his greatest adventure assuring him that whatever lies ahead, they both will face it together. Both Elijah and Klaus staked together and that marked the end of the Original Hybrid who walked the earth for many centuries.
Klaus decided to sacrifice himself in order to put an end to the corrupting and malicious dark spirit of Hollow which is relentless. Hollow AKA Inadu served as the main protagonist of Season 4 of the Originals. It planned on taking over Hope, but the Mikaelson Family members observed a part of the spirit inside them to keep it at bay. The siblings were separated, but Hope brought them together and reabsorbed all the spirit inside her to save his family. But the spirit proved to be too powerful as it started corrupting and damaging Hope from the inside. Klaus couldn’t see his daughter dying so he enlisted the Saltzman Twins and with their help, he managed to siphon all the Hollow’s spirit inside him from Hope.
For years, Joseph Morgan has stated clearly that he will never return as Klaus Mikaelson again. The reason being his character arc concluded in a beautiful way and there’s no reason for him to undo it. For a long time, Joseph Morgan has reiterated that he will not make an appearance on Legacies. But the actor’s latest post on Instagram hints that a return is in the cards. He will be appearing in the 16 June Legacies Finale. First Joseph made a post on the Instagram which read the following:
“If you had the chance to say one last goodbye to the child you loved more than anything, would you take it?
When asked about his appearance on the Legacies. He said that the fans are going to see the episode of Klaus again in the Legacies finale. However, the appearance will be really for a very short moment.

The reason Joseph will reappear as Klaus is because his character Klaus understands the most powerful and valuable thing is family. It’s the greatest treasure. It’s the same reason why Klaus made the greatest sacrifice. So from a father-daughter’s relationship perspective, Hope who has been through numerous trials desperately deserves a reunion with her father. Klaus meant the world to Hope. So it makes all the sense for his character to make a reappearance.
