Welcome back to Humor Nation. The subject of afterlife is really an intriguing one, it’s a question that has puzzled philosophers and scientists for years. What happens after dying? Well, when comes to Lucifer, we know exactly what happens after one dies, the person goes to either heaven or hell. Where a would end up depends upon the kind of life they led. We have been introduced to Hell in Season 1 finale, through out the different seasons, we got glimpses of Hell such as when Lucifer goes to retrieve the cure or when Charlotte’s husband is trapped in a hell loop, or when Lucifer returns to Hell as the king to restore order.

But the first time we got the glimpse of Heaven was in Season 5 finale. It is a realm ruled by God, angels reside there, and the soul of the dead humans who are worthy reside there. The archangel Lucifer also lived in heaven with other angels before he was cast out by God and thrown to Hell which he ruled for eons. Heaven is located in the upwards direction. The realm of Heaven has a city known as Silver City which is the home of the celestial beings and the righteous ones. In Season 5 finale, Chloe dies at the hands of Michael and as she has dealt with her guilt, she ascends to Heaven. Lucifer is devastated as it was not Chloe’s time to go, he goes to Heaven to retrieve her soul. Despite being banishment, he crashed in heaven. The Lilith’s immortality ring protects him for enough time that he can reach Chloe with the help of Lee Garner, he gives his ring to Chloe which resurrects her back on earth.

Contrary to Heaven, Hell is a realm which is the home of the tortured souls of the deceased humans. This realm was ruled by Lucifer as it was instructed by God that only a celestial being can rule this realm. It is said that a person’s guilt and self awareness about his actions can make a prisoner of hell forever.
