The teams of Lacrosse are coached by Bobby Finstock. He is known for his competitive spirit and has never forfeited a game in his long career of coaching even though he took a break from the coaching to deal with his problem of alcoholism.

Scott McCall was a benchwarmer on the lacrosse team of his high school, but after being bitten by the Alpha werewolf Peter Hale, he acquired the werewolf powers. This gave him supernatural powers such as rapid healing, athleticism, fast speed, and super senses. At the beginning of season 1, Jackson was the captain of the lacrosse team, but after he left for London at the end of season 3, Scott becomes the new captain of the high school team.
