Now when you’ll re-watch the episode, you’ll definitely notice the unique touch of these actors on the episode.
So Take A Look At Originals Actors Who Have Directed An Episode In The TVD Universe
CHARLES MICHAEL DAVIS
Charles Michael Davis had to go through a long struggle before ending up with the role of Marcel Gerard. The actor auditioned several times for a role on Vampire Diairies, but was denied. Eventually, when they started looking for actors for the spin-off Originals, Charles Michael Davis was called for an audition and he simply nailed it. Originals revolves around the Mikaelson Family as they return to a city which they built and once ruled. Now Marcel Gerard is the new king of the city, he is the adoptive son of the Original Hybrid Klaus Mikaelson.
Michael Davis has directed two Originals episodes. One is the Episode 7 titled ‘High Water And A Devil’s Daughter‘ from Season 4. The episode sees Dominic, a minion of Hollow is free and is after the Mikaelsons. Freya has placed a boundary spell to protect her family, but she gets distracted due to Keelin. the followers of Hollow take advantage of it. Meanwhile, Elijah and Vincent work out a deal to reestablish the link with the Ancestors. And finally, Marcel forms a friendship with Hope, convinces her that she can always trust him.
Another episode which is directed by Davis is Season 5 Episode ‘What, Will, I, Have, Left‘. Klaus enlists the help of Caroline in locating Hayley. Hope who started the entire ruse as a means to bring his dad back to New Orleans learns that Greta & Roman have abducted Hayley and her for their own vendetta. This episode doesn’t feature the character of Marcel Gerard. Interestingly this is the only episode which has been written & directed by the Vampire Diaries cast. The episode is written by Marguerite MacIntyre who played the role of Elizabeth Forbes (mother of Caroline Forbes) in TVD and Charles Michael Davis who played Marcel Gerard directed it.
