The actor was almost cast in the Harry Potter movies as Lord Voldemort. It’s pretty clear that he was born to do the villain roles. In an interview, the actor revealed why he prefers being a villain more, as a villain you can say a lot more. Being a villain is just a lot more fun.

Elijah with his tailored made suits, great mannerisms, chivalry, and deepest passionate desire to protect his family and the vow of ‘Always and Forever’ is one of the beloved Originals character. But did you know that the actor Daniel Gillies who portrayed Elijah Mikaelson was worried about his character because the way he played him and the storylines he was involved in, might give fans the idea that Elijah has no romantic interest or love life at all, fans might get the impression that he’s G-A-Y. So when the writers approached him with the romantic storyline with Hayley, he was worried how would the fans receive it. The cast of Originals is like a family even off-screen. While the relationship of Joseph Morgan and Charles Michael Davis is well known, but he shares great relationship with other cast members too especially with Daniel Gillies. One time when Daniel Gillies parked his vehicle diagonally at Joseph’s parking spot, Joseph got back at him by hiding his jeep. They both have locked each other in their dressing rooms on sets. And one time, Daniel parked his jeep real close to Joseph’s car so that he won’t be able to open the door, but Joseph ended up hitting his jeep.
