Welcome back to Humor Nation. The Mikaelsons have had their fair share of enemies. Not to forget, they themselves are responsible for creating their enemies. Their absolute power made them feel invincible and they didn’t care who becomes a collateral damage in their efforts to protect their family and the eternal vow of ‘Always and Forever’. Season 3 of the Originals saw the arrival of the Trinity in the New Orleans. The name Trinity represents the first three sired vampires by Klaus, Elijah, and Rebekah. These are also the oldest non-original vampires in the TVD Universe.
In Season 3, Lucien arrives in the city of New Orleans and meets Klaus, he explains to Klaus that with the death of Kol and Finn, the vampires in their sireline also had died. The fact that with the death of an Original, his entire sireline could also die, has resulted in a conflict among the three remaining sirelines of Klaus, Elijah, and Rebekah. The vampires of the various sirelines are trying to eliminate their rival sireline by killing the Original. He comes under the guise of protecting Klaus from all sorts of threats. However, later we discover that all the three vampires have been secretly working with each other, they have formed an alliance to trap their sire so no harm would befall on them.
The fall of the Mikaelsons has been predicted by a prophecy through a series of visions experienced by the witch Alexis who worked for Lucien. The prophecy was later on confirmed by Freya who also experienced similar visions. Several visions which were a part of the prophecy have come true such as Marcel standing on the bridge or Klaus getting stabbed with the Papa Tunde’s Blade.
The Origin of the Trinity can be located to the Southern France which was ruled by Count de Martel, his two children were Aurora and Tristan. Lucien used to work as a servant at their castle. The story starts when the Originals arrived at their Castle and pretended to be nobles. Aurora would develop feelings for Klaus and they would enter a relationship. Unknown to Aurora, Lucien had romantic feelings for her, but didn’t express it. Tristan would punish Lucien believing he was involved in a relationship with his sister Aurora. Mortally wounded Lucien would get healed by Klaus.
