The main characters are teenagers, studying at a high school, but are caught in the Supernatural world. Teen Wolf Season 1 Episode 2 titled ‘Second Chance At First Line’ features Scott McCall who has the newly acquired werewolf powers now, but he has not learned to control them. He must make a decision whether to participate in the crucial game of Lacrosse or not. In the episode, one could see ‘MFH’ written on the game jersey of the lacrosse team. This could be a reference to Mystic Falls High. Interestingly, the football team of Mystic Falls High is known as the ‘Timberwolves’. According to a report, the cast of both shows filmed in the area of Atlanta at the same time. So it’s no surprise the creator of the show decided to throw in a little TVD Easter Egg. Interestingly, there’s a scene where the teacher introduces ‘The Vampire Diaries’ books in the high school classroom. Along with it, there is another interesting sort of reference in the movie. The movie features the actress Arielle Kebbel who plays a vampire named Rachel in the movie. Arielle Kebbel is the same actress who played the role of Lexi Branson in the Vampire Diaries. BJ Britt also appeared playing the role of a vampire Antoine in the film. The actor appeared in Season 2 of the Vampire Diaries where he meets his demise at the hands of Caroline Forbes who transformed into a vampire and eliminated him.
