Hello Readers! Welcome back to Humor Nation. Supernatural ran a total of 15 seasons. It introduced us to all sorts of Supernatural creatures. Species ranging from vampires, werewolves, to sirens and banshees. But demons and angels have perhaps the most significant impact on the storyline of the show. Today we will be counting down the some of the best angels and best demons in the history of Supernatural.
So Here Are Supernatural: 5 Best Angels And 5 Best Demons In The Show
1. Angel: Jack
Even though the character of Jack has been introduced quite late on the show. Since his conception, it was believed that the nephilim would be evil and would cause all sorts of chaos. But Jack proved to be nothing like his father Lucifer. With the help and guidance of the Winchesters, Jack became a part of the Team Free Will. With time, he mastered his powers and used them to do good. In the end, ultimately, he became the omniscient God who made several changes in the Supernatural Universe.
2. Demon: Crowley
Demons were feared greatly in the beginning and they proved to be formidable foes to the Winchesters. They were frustrating and pretty powerful in the earlier seasons. Crowley is perhaps the most intelligent demon who proved to be both an ally and a foe to the Winchesters, he was smart enough to know when to hold and when to fold the cards. Crowley lasted for a pretty long time in the Supernatural. As the show progressed, we learned more about the backstory of the character and understood his motivations.
3. Angel: Balthazar
Balthazar’s character lasted only for a brief time, but he managed to leave an everlasting impression on the viewers. He fought alongside Castiel in the celestial wars. When the apocalypse was nigh, angels were busy preparing for the battle. He stole the weapons and artifacts from the heaven and took a refugee on earth. For his friend Castiel, he decided to come out of the sidelines and joined him against Raphael. But when Castiel started becoming rogue and crazy, he joined Winchesters to control Castiel and stop his plan to open the Purgatory which proved to be his demise.
4. Demon: Meg
The first memorable demon on the show. We all hated Meg at first, but little did we know that she would grew on us. After she returned back from hell, she changed her vessel. With Lucifer back in the cage, she had a change of plans and assisted the Winchesters on numerous occasions. The demon even sacrificed herself to protect the Winchesters and the angel tablet.
5. Angel: Gabriel
We originally thought of him as the Trickster AKA Loki. It wasn’t until Season 5 where his true identity as an archangel was revealed. Gabriel wasn’t interested in the angel war, he wanted to keep himself far from his brothers rivalry, but Winchesters convinced him to fight for himself. Gabriel has always proven to be a comic relief, the archangel sacrificed himself one more time to save Castiel and the Winchesters in the Alternate Universe.
