Undoubtedly this is not just the best Crowley episode, but also one of the best pieces of acting that Mark Sheppard has ever done. Sam is doing the final trial which is to cure a demon in order to seal the gates of hell forever. He has chosen Crowley for he task. As the procedure starts Crowley starts displaying his humane side. He shows his vulnerability and expresses how he also deserves to be loved. In this moment, you cannot help, but root for him, seeing him as a victim.

Sam and Dean receive a call from someone informing that someone has stolen something from their father’s secret storage. They find out that it’s a cursed rabbit foot that has been taken away. Anybody who touches the foot will receive extraordinary amount of good luck, but once the foot is gone, the person will experience enormous amounts of bad luck. Sam Winchester ends up touching the foot which results in hilarious misadventures. Sam Winchester’s lucky streak is memorable. he scratches a card and it wins him thousands of dollars. When he enter a restaurant with Dean, they end up winning free food for an entire year. Once the foot is lost, Sam ends up experiencing hilarious bad lucks such as tripping and falling, he even loses his shoe. In the end, Bela snatches away the foot from the boys.

While Season 6 of Supernatural is easily forgettable as this new season didn’t feature Eric Kripke who departed after completing his vision of Season 1-5. There was a change in the creative and therefore there were lots of hits and misses. But this episode essentially features the struggle and character of Castiel. The problem of Castiel has always been doing the wrong things, but for the right reasons. The episode starts with Castiel trying to ask God for his guidance. He talks about his early experiences and how his interactions with the Winchesters changed him. He wonders if he had made the wrong choices in his journey. Castiel wanted to win the Civil War against Raphael who vows to re-open the cage and start the apocalypse again. The episode concludes with Castiel being separated from the Winchesters who felt betrayed. In the end, he again asks for a sign from the God. The thing about Castiel is that his heart was in the right place, but Cas took the wrong path. Not only did he eliminated Raphael, but also caused the demise of numerous innocent angels.
