The story of the show started with two brothers reuniting to search for their missing dad. We learn that their father is a hunter who hunts ghosts, demons, and all sorts of supernatural stuff. He has raised his boys in the same lifestyle who are also well familiar with the Supernatural entities and are skilled in hunting them.

Season 1 of the show started it all. The Boys started their journey on the road. We were treated with the monster of the week, numerous popular urban legends were introduced on the show. The brothers have disagreements and tension, but their bond strong to find their missing father. This season sets the stage for what the Supernatural will eventually become.
While Season 1 established the show, it was Season 2 which set the main story in motion. We learn more about the background history of the Winchester Family and the demon Azazel who caused the tragedy. This season also introduced several new hunters who teamed up with Sam and Dean to fight the greater enemy.
Season 3 of the show has been the shortest one as it consisted of only 16 episodes. Many consider this to be the best season of the show. Dean made a deal with the crossroads demon to bring back Sam to life. In Season 3, the clock is ticking, both brothers rush to find any loophole that could save Dean. They run into a demon named Ruby who surprisingly is willing to help the boys and tells the forbidden knowledge of hell and its demons.
How The Supernatural Characters Look Like With The Baby Filter
Season 4 introduced us to one of the most beloved Supernatural characters, the angel Castiel. The angels are tasked with stopping Lilith from breaking the 66 seals. They enlist the Winchesters to aid their mission of stopping the demons from succeeding. This season had numerous things going on, from Sam’s demon blood addiction to Lilith’s sinister plans.
The finale episode saw Sam Winchester killing Ruby who had been manipulating him all along and then the boys taking down Lilith which results in the final seal being broken. Lucifer is freed from the cage and the boys suddenly vanish in the flash of a light.
