While the main characters Hayley, Klaus, and Elijah didn’t get the ending they deserved, but nonetheless their character transformation throughout the Originals have been impressive. Not just the main characters, but the supporting characters also received a reasonable amount of screen time to shine. Characters such as Marcel, Davina, Cami, and numerous others also went through major changes over the course of the show.
7. The most powerful person in the TVD Universe. She was conceived as a loophole and it was her birth which became the redemption of the Mikaelson Family. They all fought to protect her till the very end. In Legacies Season 4, she turned off her humanity and showed her vicious side to everyone.
8. Phoebe Tonkin played the werewolf Hayley Marshall in the TVD Universe. However, in Season 1 of the Originals, she transformed into an Unsired Hybrid. Many fans criticized the writers for killing off the character of Hayley in Season 5. Hayley loved Elijah, but their happy ending couldn’t happen in the final season. However, she told Hope that she’s waiting for Elijah for the dance in the afterlife.
9. The latest addition to the Mikaelson Family is the first born Freya Mikaelson. She was taken away by Dahlia from Esther Mikaelson. After waking up, she freed herself from Dahlia and came to her siblings to warn them about the upcoming threat. It took her time and effort to earn the trust of the family, but once she did, she became an integral part of the family.
10. The Noble One! The one who sacrificed himself for his family. Elijah Mikaelson’s sole purpose was the redemption of his brother Klaus and he played a major role in it. It was Elijah who convinced Klaus to save Hope and begin the family which they always desired. He purposely got his memories erased in Season 4 finale to let go of his family in order to protect them.
11. Davina Claire, the Harvest girl who was rescued by Marcel and used her to rule New Orleans. She would break free of her captivity and grew tired of everyone using her for their selfish reasons. Davina would fall in love with Kol and put her life in danger to bring him back to life.
12. Initially Cami was kept in the dark from the Supernatural community in the New Orleans, but when she became aware of it, she played a major role in numerous events. Cami grew closer to Klaus and counseled him several times in seeing things objectively.
13. Marcel Gerard was raised by Klaus, but he betrayed his sire by calling Mikael on him. In the end, he left New Orleans to start a new life with Rebekah Mikaelson.
