We have collected the stats of the screen time of the TVD characters from the YouTube Channell ‘Screen Time Data‘, there is plenty of interesting trivia revealed from the stats. Ian Somerhalder who played Damon Salvatore has the most screen time in the show. Over the course of 8 Seasons and 171 Episodes. Damon Salvatore has a total screen time of 2 Days 10 Hours 35 Minutes which is amazing. One would expect Paul Wesley’s Stefan to have a similar amount of screen time, he is right behind Ian with only a minor difference.
1 Day = 1440 Minutes
1 Hour = 60 Minutes
So Damon Salvatore in Vampire Diaries has a total of 2 Days which translates to 2880 Minutes, 10 Hours Equals 600 Minutes, 35 Minutes = 2880 + 600+ 35 = 3515 Minutes
Stefan Salvatore who is portrayed by Paul Wesley has a total of 2 Days which translates to 2880 Minutes, 9 Hours Equals 540 Minutes, 48 Minutes = 2880 + 540+ 48= 3468 Minutes
The difference between Damon and Stefan would then become = 3515-3468= 47 Minutes or it can be 0.783333 Hours.
So Statistically speaking, there’s a very minute difference of = 1.34613% in the screen timings of Damon and Stefan Salvatore which isn’t high when you consider as both of them are the lead protagonists of the show.
Whereas Nina Dobrev is pretty behind Stefan and Damon. When you consider the fact that Nina Dobrev left the show in Season 6 and didn’t appear until the Season 8 finale, she has missed a total of 37 episodes which explains why there’s a big gap in their screen timings. She has a total number of 2860 minutes in front of her name as Elena. Compared to both Stefan & Damon, Elena has a difference of 38.01% in terms of her screen time. This difference is pretty significant.
