Welcome back to Humor Nation. It’s been more than a decade since the first episode of the vampire Diaries was aired. It all started with the Vampire Diaries and then it led to the Originals, and finally we are on Legacies. The Vampire Diaries centered around the Salvatores, Originals focused on the Mikaelsons, and Legacies features the next generation of the Mystic Falls. While we have talked a lot about the protagonists from these shows, whether it be Elena Gilbert, Hayley Marshall, the Salvatore or the Mikaelson Brothers. But it’s also pretty important to highlight some of the best villains from these shows. Without a good villain, a hero cannot become a hero. While we have witnessed all sorts of villains, some were purely evil for no reason, some had tragic backstories, events that forced them down the dark path. We couldn’t help, but sympathize with them.
Sybil, Cade, And Seline were a crucial part of the final season of TVD. The killed in order to capture their souls just to keep themselves in power. Compared to previous villains, they were kind of a letdown. But Sybil is definitely one of the best TVD Villains. She controlled Damon and Enzo, and made them do ugly things. Many fans hate Sybil more than any other villain on the show.
In Season 6, the character of Kai Parker was introduced. He was trapped in the 1994 Prison World by his father. He comes across Bonnie and Damon, he joins them in order to escape the prison world. We find out that he is siphoner who has the ability to steal the powers of others. Siphoners are considered to be abominations by the Gemini Coven. He is ambitious and manipulative, he wouldn’t stop at any cost. Once he escaped, he caused chaos and destruction, he killed numerous in his way to become the most powerful. The most tragic casualty was Jo who died on her wedding day. Bonnie would trap Kai again in a different prison world, but he found his way back in the Legacies.
When it comes to the Originals, the villains we saw were mostly powerful witches. After all, witches are the kind that one can just trifle with. First it was Esther and Finn who troubled the Mikaelsons. Then came Dahlia who sought Hope because of Esther’s deal. And finally, we got Hollow, a relentless power seeking spirit.
