3. Dumas Beach, Surat, Gujrat
How great is the thought of spending a night at the beach, under the starlit sky with the waves, cold breezes and the spirits? Wait, did I say spirits? Oh sorry, I meant spirits! Well, however beautiful the black sand beach be, it is the last place you’d want to be at during the night. From spooky shrieks to whispers, people have reportedly heard haunting sounds coming from Dumas, said to be the spirits of tormented souls.
Oops, did I not mention that the beach used to be a cremation ground before? My bad. The black sand of the beach is attributed to ashes of corpses burnt there. That’s not it, the dogs are said to be barking and howling all night long due to the presence of someone or something unwanted.
4. Savoy Hotel, Mussoorie
