On the screen, Chris Wood portrayed Kai Parker, a psychotic and power hungry witch who ends up harming his own family to get what he wanted. Chris Wood is also known for his role of the superhero Mon-El in the CW’s Supergirl which is based on the DC Comics. But did you know that the actor is a mental health activist. In 2017, he launched a website titled ‘IDONTMIND’ which aims to create an awareness regarding mental health and also educate people about the importance of mental health, and eradicate the stigma associated with mental health. The motivation behind his initiative came from the personal tragedy that the actor suffered when he was in the early 20s. His dad suffered a heart failure which was resulted due to a maniac episode, his untreated mental illness caused psychotic episodes.

Janina Gavankar portrayed the character of Qetsiyah in the Vampire Diaries. She was born to Indian father and Dutch mother making her half-Dutch and half-Indian. Not only is she the first witch to create the immortality elixir, she is also the first actress ever to use Twitter. She signed up for Twitter on the computer of Richard Branson, founder of Virgin Company, in 2006. She also was the personification of the Ms. Dewey, an experimental search engine which was launched by Microsoft in 2006 and became discontinued in 2009.
