And the show introduced us to numerous bad guys who took on the most powerful vampires. When you have such powerful heroes, becoming a villain is a big task. While some of the people managed to prove their worth, some were not up for the job. Most of the villains on the Originals were motivated by revenge and Celeste was no different. She was once the lover of Elijah, she returned as Sabina Laurent. Celeste kept switching bodies before death in order to stay alive. In Season 1 finale, in the closing seconds of the episode we saw Finn and Kol return back to life along with their mother Esther Mikaelson. Mother Esther’s plan was to redeem her children by taking away their immortality and the vampiric nature that she once bestowed upon them. Finn and Kol are trapped in the bodies of the witches.
The most dangerous villain on the Originals was ‘The Hollow’ The witch was once known as Inadu and she came from Hayley’s bloodline, but even after her death, she just kept growing powerful in the form of spirit. She first possessed the wife of Vincent, Eva Sinclair. She came for Hope Mikaelson and then possessed the child. The Mikaelson siblings then absorbed a part of Hollow’s spirit inside her. Ultimately, Klaus who absorbed the entire spirit inside him, decided to sacrifice himself to end Hollow’s spirit once and for all.
