Welcome back to Humor Nation. Season 4 of the Originals takes five years after the event of Season 3 finale where the fall of the Mikaelsons took place. Klaus has been under the captivity of Marcel while the lives of all his siblings is linked to him, he served as the anchor to the spell cast by Freya which placed the siblings in a magical coma while Hayley could search for the necessary cure for the family. Marcel is now ruling the city and there is order under his leadership. But the peace in New Orleans will soon come to an end because of a new dangerous threat. Hayley manages to find all the ingredients necessary for the cure, she wakes up Freya who then uses the magic to revive her siblings and cure them of the dangerous venom of the bite. The Mikaelsons have reunited and they plan to free Klaus from the captivity.
How Well Do You Remember The Season Finales Of The Originals (S1-S5)?
The family make a plan to get into the city secretly and free Klaus. They visit Josh to learn more about Marcel. Using a secret passage they reach the dungeon where Klaus is being stored. Meanwhile Klaus who has been suffering to the Papa Tunde’s blade inserted inside him is fighting his own demons, he hallucinates Cami who provides him the necessary strength to take the blade out and free himself for the sake of his daughter. Even though the family freed Klaus and is about to escape, but Marcel confronts them. After a heated interaction, Marcel decides to let them go and instructs them to never return back to the city.
It’s been five years since Klaus saw his daughter. Hope is now all grown up and finds it hard to connect with Klaus. The Original Hybrid tries bonding with his daughter through the medium of painting. Meaninwhile Vincent informs Marcel about the upcoming danger, he reveals the secrets of Eva Sinclair who became corrupted due to the spirit of Hollow who forced her to commit sacrifices. Numerous innocent children from the New Orleans have been abducted, Marcel and Vincent begin their search to track the witch. It turns out the witch is being controlled by the Hollow. The Hollow has found Hope and plans to take her over.
