3. BONNIE BENNETT
While the magic potential of Bonnie Bennett surpasses everyone on the list as she being in her early 20s was able to do things that took witches centuries. Bonnie comes from a long line of the legendary Bennett bloodline, a legacy of the witches. Bonnie is skilled and expert in different sorts of magical forms; traditional, spirit, dark, expression. Her psychic abilities are also second to none. The only witch who created a psychic afterlife and a prison world using her abilities.
Being a direct descendant of Qetsiyah, she was able to become the anchor to the Other Side allowing the supernatural beings to pass through her. When she became a supernatural huntress, her strength was amplified to the level of an Original and she became immune to the magic. When Katherine planned on destroying everyone with the Hellfire, Bonnie was the able who was able to move the fire to the Armory. She destroyed the hellfire with the help of the Bennett ancestors who came to aid her.
2. DAHLIA
Dahlia has been one of the most powerful witches in the TVD Universe. She was powerful to the extent that her sister Esther who is also a great witch feared from her name. Freya has revealed that Dahlia’s powers are beyond imagination and she was on the run because Dahlia could defeat her easily. She also said that Dahlia is superior to anyone when it comes to magic, this is reason how she became drawn to Hope. Dahlia is skilled in the dark arts as she was able to cast a fertility spell on Esther which resulted in the birth of the Originals.
She placed herself and Freya in hibernation which allowed them to not age and grow powerful. She also created the Freya’s Talisman which she used to perform her magic, and stored Finn and Elijah’s souls in it. Dahlia entered the minds of the masses, used their senses to communicate using the Kenning spell. She healed the older Josephine LaRue’s hands of a curse merely by blowing over them. She was able to take down entire Mikaelson family with ease, on the verge of killing them. One could argue that it was the psychological bond of her with Esther that made her not fight back which resulted in her death.
1. THE HOLLOW
The Hollow AKA Inadu was born as a result of the union of two powerful tribes of North American witches. The Tribal Elders granted her with power. But in her life, she started craving for more powerful, she channeled power from all life sources. Ultimately, the Elders had to kill her to stop her from growing powerful. In her death, she cast down the werewolf curse upon the tribes who hunted her. As a spirit, she was powerful enough to cause illusions to the Original Hybrid. She could possess different bodies and retain their abilities, such as when she possessed Sofya, she was able to practice magic while using the Sofya’s vampiric abilities.
When she was resurrected in her body, she was powerful enough to easily subdue Marcel, she resurrected Davina Claire which was an impressive feat. Hollow was powerful to the extent that it could easily take over the mind and soul of the being it was stored into, it took over Hope and then over Klaus. Finally, Klaus had to sacrifice his life to put an end to the evil Hollow.
