4. LAUREN COHAN (BELA TALBOT)
She plays a thief/hunter who acquires expensive supernatural items for the highest bidders. In doing so, she often crosses paths with the Winchesters and manages to out smart them. The character was written in a manner where she outwitted and overpowered Sam and Dean, this resulted in Bela’s character receiving backlash from the fans which ultimately resulted in the character being written off. However, there is no denying that Lauren Cohan’s performance has immortalized her in the Supernatural Universe.
Despite appearing in only six episodes, fans of the show still remember her. Lauren’s work in Supernatural earned her work in hit shows such as ‘The Vampire Diaries’, ‘Chuck’, and mostly notably ‘The Walking Dead’. The biggest success of her career came with ‘The Walking Dead’ which made her a global star. The show is based on the comic book of the same name and she played the role of Maggie Greene who would later become a main character.

3. KATIE CASSIDY (RUBY)
Kattie Cassidy has earned the nickname of a scream queen for her work in the remake of horror films such as ‘Black Christmas’, ‘A Nightmare on Elm Street’. But her television success started with Supernatural. Katie was cast as Ruby in Season 3 of the show. Season 3 planned to have two female leads and therefore the characters of Ruby and Bela were written. Ruby is a demon who aligns herself with the boys and assists them in disposing off the demons who have escaped hell in Season 2 finale. Being a demon, she educates the Winchesters with the forbidden knowledge of the demonology which comes in handy while dealing with the underworld creatures. It is also Ruby who hands the demon knife to the boys which they use to send off numerous demons.
However, Katie Cassidy felt the direction of her character is uncertain and it prompted her exit. There have been rumors that it was a pay issue. Luckily, the actress went on to be cast in CW’s Arrow as Black Canary / Laurel Lance. This role would prove to be the highlight of the actress’ career and it made her popular globally. She would reprise the same role in Arrowverse shows ‘Legends of Tomorrow’ and ‘The Flash’ which also aired on the CW Network.
