The second oldest family in the TVD Universe is the ‘De Martel Fanily’. A family of nobles who rules France, but they met misfortune when the Mikaelsons entered into their lives. The Mikaelsons transformed Aurora and Tristan into vampires. A decision that will haunt them later in their lives. Tristan and Aurora arrived in New Orleans in Season 3 and caused nothing, but troubles for the Mikaelsons.
