Similar to Dean, Sam has died numerous times on the show. Well, dying on Supernatural isn’t permanent as one could always be brought back somehow especially if you are a Winchester. The first time he died was in Season 2 when he was stabbed by Jake. In order to bring him back to life, Dean made a deal with the crossroad demon in exchange of his soul. Sam was insurrected, but he was somewhat different, his demeanor became cold. Azazel confirmed that what came back wasn’t 100% Sam. Sam Winchester has died a total number of 8 times throughout the 15 Seasons. In Season 5 finale, he fell in hell which wasn’t technically a death, but he returned, he was soulless.

2. HIS SON

Even though the identity of the woman that he had a son with was never revealed, but Sam took care of his son and he was named Dean Winchester II. He is the last person to be born into the Winchester family and probably the last remaining member. He has an anti-possession tattoo which means Sam has taught him about the Supernatural world and how to hunt.

Sam is the only character who has appeared in every episode of the show. With Dean being the second character, he was absent in Season 14 premier episode ‘Stranger in a Strange Land’ because he was possessed by Michael. Sam is also responsible for killing his two direct relatives. He killed his maternal grandfather Samuel in S6 who was trying to bring Mary back and he killed Dean’s daughter and his niece Emma in S7. He is also the only character who has not made deals with the demons. Also, Sam has managed to get back the control of his body from powerful angels such as Lucifer and Gadreel.

So what are your thoughts about the character arc of Sam Winchester? Do you feel satisfied with the way his story ended or do you wish there was more to it? Also, let us know your thoughts about the Supernatural finale, do you think Dean Winchester deserved a better conclusion rather than being killed by the vampires like that? 1. I know the finale wasn’t the one it was written because of COVID. It looks like it was going to be like a party, with a lot of characters that had showed up in the show.
But since only Jared and Jensen were in Vancouver and the rest of them in the US and them couldn’t make it, so the crew did the finale we had.
I’d like, since things for traveling are smooth now, they’ll do the other one. It would be great.
